I am planing on giving oreo a little treat tonight before his chicken leg tomorrow. However, I was wondering if Crutons , soft taco shells, and or bread was safe for him. Even if it is in small portions.

ferrets are carnivores, I believe bread products are not on the menu... I do understand that they are carnivores however, least with how my mind works it never hurts to find out if little bits of bread products would be ok to give once in a while that is.

Absolutely not! No grains, you want to give treats...give him some meat or a gibby or a slice of heart...bread is bad for all pets. It causes stomach upsets ciao

No. Ferrets cannot process plant matter of any kind - only animal parts. Feeding any type of carb, sugar, or grain is just asking for insulinoma.
