Have you guys ever wondered if your ferrets are saying good bye one by one to another ferret? I noticed that Dingo's gained a freind, . Pretty little dokata has been sleeping with him and he's crawled away to curl up beside his little roaned out girl friend. But today I also saw Jack snuggled up tight with him. Now I am pondering whether they know something that I do not? Dialog: " Good night Jack. Remember to watch over the kids when I'm gone. " Dingo placed his head on top of the snow white fur of the second oldest in ttfr's clan of rescues. " Always...You know that. Just tell monster we miss him down here but know he's better off where he is. " Jack yawned and rolled over into his favorite position, on his back with both arms curled up against the nearest ferrets chest. I know these are a little morbid but I have to face the facts now. Dingo's bladder is hard. His additivity slowly slowing down. He still fights for his med but more and more just allows me to tend to him. When I took him for the ferret romp, He pooped out and started being a bump on the ground instead of finding somewhere to sleep. Not really normal of him. He has a vet appointment by my ferret vet to talk about the bladder when I go to take the other kids for their shots.

Hey Hey So the vet said to keep an eye on his prostate. He was concerned that it was large and possibly had tumors on it. I asked him about new meds and he comented that now everything for ferrets are going downhill. You had to get everything over-seas, and or it was very hard to get. And this is one of the big ferret vets you see in the websites listing ferret vets. Dingo also lost 6oz since 12/13. My 3-4month lupron went up a few bucks. But in total with a new lupron shot, three visits, two distempers, ear mite meds, and a urine ph..The bill was $150-160.

If I understand you correctly- he was telling you that the meds to reduce the size of Dingo's prostate are almost impossible to get now???

The prostate meds. I asked him about getting something to deal with the hourmons and he said that they are hard to get. O.o
Do you think I should call him up and tell him about the meds yall listed in his orignal blog? I still need to call my other vet to see if he was able to get them for me.

oh and I picked him out of his sleeping spot and replaced him next to dakota...Well he curled up, gave her a lick, and fell asleep. She really seems to be very motherly to everyone. Man now that I think about it she is the one that seems to watch over everyone in the background.

You can't get flutamide or propecia (finasteride)? Is he adrenal? Does he whimper when he urinates or does he push hard and have a difficult time going? He just needs to call walgreen or a compounding pharmacy. Wedgewood pharmacy (they have a website where your vet can prescribe pet need for you) they are a compounding pharmacy in new jersey.they specialize in compounding meds for pets. They will ship the pet meds to you. they have prostate meds at wedgewood.
