Well this smorning my bird ziva surprised me with an unfirtle egg course she would know cause she wasnt sitting on it and once i found it under her water dish and then went to check it put it in cage agian she kicked it to her food dish and broke it on perpouse. However, I was wondering if its safe to give unfirtle eggs from a cockatiel or any other kind of bird to my oreo so that it doesnt get waisted.

My guys have tried all sorts of different eggs, including emu. Just for the record...no they didn't get to try and break it and no they didn't get it all. One emu egg is the equivalent to about 4 or 5 eggs and makes an awesome omelet for about 3 or 4 people. ciao

i would not advise it. a lot of birds have parasites that we don't know about until they have babies with weak immune systems to show it I have had this problem, my tiels decided to breed but the babies died young because of parasites from the parents who got it from their parents. of course everyone went to the vet.
have you gotten her blood tested lately?

Fertile or infertile, it's fine. In season smaller eggs would be a part of their diet anyway :$

Allow them to break the egg and eat it that way. Great stimulation. ciao
