You can buy whole prey ground although it might be cheaper to grind it yourself if you have access to whole prey. If you'd rather buy, Hare Today has quite a few ground foods. hare-today.com/Some holistic pet stores also have ground mixes but be careful with those because many of them have fruits/veggies. They also tend to be expensive. How thick the ground can be and still be accepted really depends on the ferret. If bone is his only issue (ie he'll eat chunks of meat just not bone) then the thickness of the ground shouldn't matter because the bone should be completely ground.

you tried things like chicken wings and breaking up the bones inside, usually when mine taste the marrow they will eat the bone to get to the marrow

perhaps try chicken wing tips. it takes awhile for them to build up the muscle and strength to be able to handle bones. the tips are lots of bone, but aren't that tough so it will help gibblets may help as well.

Quail and cornish hen are both great introductory bones as well. In order to get some of mine eating them, I served up chicken wings for 3 days in a row, both meals Yes, they were sectioned, middle cut between the bones, and the drumette cut along the length- but it finally worked

If he's good on whole chunks, I'd try some crushed wings before ordering. It didn't take long for my girls to decide they were yummy

Try to crush the bone as much as possible to get him used to the bone in his meats.
