Hi Everyone, I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I've been lurking around the forum for a while, and I just signed up a few days ago. My name is Klaudia, I'm 33 and live in Valencia, Ca with my husband Eric, our 2 year old Pit Bull Bruno (and yes, I am a responsible Pit Bull owner:-) and our new addition Chestnut the ferret. He's my first ferret, and we got him on the 28th of December (his birthday is October 2).He came from a pet store in Las Vegas. I've been wanting a ferret since I was 19, and now I finally went through with it:-) He's a very active boy and we completley switched him for raw about 4 days ago. It was a no brainer to us, since Bruno is on a raw diet since last August. With Chestnut it was a little nerv wrecking, but I think we got it down:-) It's very easy to measure for a 65 lbs dog, but the tiny 2 lb ferret was different. I'm glad that I found a forum where people are all about raw feeding. For most it's still such a controversy... I'd never feed any of my animals anything else. I'll try to help as much as I can. Although I'm new to ferrets, but I def. have pretty good knowledge about raw diet.

Hi and welcome glad that you not only signed up, but that you raw feed your pittie as well and most pit owners are responsible I've found. It's just the idiots who get the most press Anyway, please feel free to browse, post, ask questions, etc can't wait to see pics of both your fur kids! I really miss our pit. She passed 4 years ago from old age

Hi and welcome on board. Raw feeding is the only way to go ;D I've been feeding that way for almost 15 yrs now, dogs, cats and ferrets. Please feel free to prowl around, check out the various sections, read threads, ask questions, get involved with the discussions (its a great way to learn), everyone's friendly. There is no such thing as a stupid question, except maybe the one that isn't asked I hope that you will post pics of your wee ones, the pitt too....I love warm pitt snuggles (though here in Ontario we have to claim they're lab lovings ) ciao
