Good, keep offering it. How are they doing with the heart and organ soup?

Oh good! Start feeding them heart a few times a week then. How did the bonemeal search go? Next I'd like to see you try organ. How are they coming on the pork? What about the bones?

Ok well no worries. We just need to get them eating bones. Get some chicken wings and try them out. See my earlier post RE smashing them. Have you tried this yet? If so what were the results? It's hard to give input if I don't know what's going on. If you haven't tried bones yet, try them next. As for organs, I'd start with liver. Start with small chunks mixed into their meat and increase the chunks. If they really don't take to it we can go to a soup and work them up.

momo liked the liver she kept being a bully stealing Caspers Ringo picked at it a little i did mix in a little bit of smashed bone. I used a hammer to do that, and it took like 30 min. I would say its a hit except for Ringo just picking at it.

Oh that is great! Keep it up and we'll get Ringo there. Try hand feeding him a few pieces too, or using a light drizzle of something tasty (ferretone, oil, soupies, or a favorite treat) over it to entice him a little as well. Same with the bone. Keep offering it, and gradually increase the size of the bones by smashing them less and less. Eventually the only bones that will need to be broken are larger bones like leg or neck bones, pork ribs, etc and the others they will crunch through all on their own. Later this week I'd like you to try adding in a new meat too. They have tried pork and chicken correct? Can you try beef next?

Ringo did better today he at least ate a quarter more than before with the added ferretone. Momo and Casper stayed the same, and what kind of beef cut would you suggest like ground-beef?

Any cut will do. Ground is usually easier to get them to taste bc it's closer to soup in consistency, but you eventually want them to eat chunks as well. Can you get some turkey necks? I'd try those and any cut of beef. (stew chunks are nice bc you don't have to prep them lol good for lazy days). And keep it up wihthe organs, work on decreasing the ferretone needed for little Ringo to eat it. You're making good progress.

yes i can get some turkey necks once i get my hunting license. They absolutely loved beef. They usually steal some of my beef before only this time it was raw lol. I was thinking turkey heart once i get one your opinion on that?

Yes turkey heart is great. The more variety the better! I am glad that they like the beef. Have you tried the pork yet? How are they coming on the bones?

I have tried the pork again and momo ate hers, and some of Casper's since he wont eat his pork, and Ringo ate all of his. Its still a slow process on the bones they see them mainly for stashing right now
