I am just wondering if it is suitable to feed ferrets dried meat products? Like pigs ears, dried lamb tongue, other such items? It is good for them or it is not really encouraged? Could it harm them?
I'm wondering because a friend of mine put me onto a lady some hours drive from me who I can order dried meats off, organ & bones & muscle meats, so was wondering if it would be good for the ferrets as a change from their normal raw.
Thanks

As long as they have been dehydrated without salts, flavours or preservatives and are 100% natural I don't see why not. As long as they're not too hard (like weight bearing bones) they should be ok. I would probably only give them to them as a treat and not too often. I think that the dried dog treat versions of pigs ears and stuff have salt in them? I could be wrong though

That's great. I've gotten some all natural pigs ears, I might try sawing them into smaller chunks & letting the ferrets have a gnaw, I know Lucien showed great interest in the bag so hopefully it might be good stimulation.

Even if they can't actually get through them enough to ingest them, chewing on them can be enriching
