I should finally be able to pick some up tomorrow, and I have high hopes! I've seen it do amazing things for my dogs and horses (not to mention me!) in the past.
Would it be better for me to work on getting him eating using the kibble he's used to until he's settled in and then re-starting going raw, or keep pushing raw soup so he just gets used to it as his appetite continues?

It's up to you; if you continue with the soup, try upping the amount of kibble in it, so that it smell more like what he's used to, maybe (in this instance, have kibble mush with a raw "gravy". We can work down from there as he gets more comfortable with his environment).

Well, he's been eating a bit better. The only food he's actually enthusiastic about is still the treats, but he's eating much more of the soup

We don't need enthusiasm *yet*; we just need him to eat it, so it's great to hear that he is

Haha, yeah that's a good point I also just remembered yesterday that he's full grown and I'm used to feeding kits... that have just transitioned to a raw diet

That's true. The two (kits v. adults) are generally VASTLY different experiences!

Everything's pretty much the same. I have had some minor improvement, which I'm guessing is all I can hope for at this point He was previously spitting out any chunks of chicken that were large enough that he had to chew, but this morning he ate them! He still won't eat unless I hld him though

Still, that's good! Miss Pix (who was 2) was the same way - I had to syringe feed her for awhile, then we graduated to handfeeding soup, and then one day she was snatching diced bits off of my finger as though she'd done it all along. We will get Taz there, too

Of course Sometimes we get lucky and have easy switches and sometimes we .... don't. Doesn't matter, though - Taz is only about 1.5 years, right? Still a young guy, and hopefully we CAN out stubborn him!

Haha, yeah, I'm pretty stubborn myself And he is still pretty young. He's made Oryx seem so easy! Since I was using the baby food anyways, I've been cutting the chicken into 1/2" by 1/2" chunks and putting a little oil and baby food on it and she's been going to town! Though she'll steal Taz's soupies if I don't watch her

It's not surprising that Oryx will steal food, but hey, she's doing great!
And I take it Taz is still the same, eating meat if you feed him? (what size are the chunks?)

Sorry, my computer broke again Taz is the same. He's eating meat chunks that are one step above pureed. They're pretty much fingernail sized slivers mixed with a spoon of baby food and olive oil. He'll eat half a spoon full as long as I sit with him, which I've been doing every time he's awake and begs. I cut him off from treats because I felt like it was stopping him from eating as much of the meat as he would otherwise, and he's been slightly more enthusiastic since then, but I really worry that he's not eating enough There was no difference between the puree and slivers in terms of how much he eats and I don't have a good food processor, so it's actually easier for me to cut it up with scissors which is why I've been doing that, lol. I really don't mind that I have to sit with him while feeding and that he's still not comfortable; considering his history, I completely expected it, plus it gives me tons of bonding time with him. The concern that actually weighs on my mind is just how little he eats. I really don't want to make him sick

Okay, yeah, that's not a lot of food for him; how often, would you say, are you giving him the spoonful of food/day?
Have you tried crushing up kibble and mixing it in with the baby food and slivers?

Or you could soak some kibble into mush and then mix it into the baby food + sliver concoction, as well. I just think he needs more of a jumping off point to rev up his appetite, and usually the smell of their kibble will do that.
We also want to get his caloric intake up, because he is a rescue and we don't necessarily know if he has an underlying issue that could be triggered with this semi-fasting.
