Hello, new here from TX..:)

I want to say hello everyone and i can't wait to chat with you all, and i hope to learn allll kinds of things here..

I use to belong to a forum for sugar gliders, and that is the only reason i even searched for a forum for ferrets..

My name is Sherrie, I have five kiddoes and one on the way due in march. We have just got 2 ferrets for a lady her localy. One Male about 11 mths old, and 1 female who is about 6 months old. I have always wanted a ferret and well now i have two. They are sooo much fun to watch..lol

So i'm a new mommy to my little furr babies, and have done a bunch of research but knew i would get the best advise on a forum like this!!

I researched the basic i guess you would say before agreeing to take these little guys...but i knew i would have fun learning more stuff.

I am a stay at home mom, and i sew allll kinds of things. I am a cloth diapering mamma, and i make my own and sell online and i have fleece coming out of my bum...giggle and yesterday morning when i went to pick up these guys i made them a bag/pouch for them.

well i guess that is enough for now.. Can't wait to talk to you all!!

Please feel free to prowl around, check out the various sections and read through the threads. Ask question, get involved (it's a great way to learn), everyone is very friendly and more than willing to answer any questions. By the way, there is no such thing as a stupid question, the only stupid question is the one that is never asked Please post pics of your wee ones, it is the one thing that they seem to demand in exchange for information ;D ;D

LOL i will sooo get pix up!!! my kiddoes are home at the moment and doing homework so the little crazy furr babies are in there cage looking at me..lol They just got done playing tag running around the house...lol crazy little critters..lol.

I will get pix posted asap!!!


I have browsed around and love all the info. Since i sew ALOT, i plan on making them allll kinds of goodies for thier cages...and to cage out to give them something new to play with..giggle. I saw several ideas on here. And LOVE them.
