I am thinking on asking my gran on getting a turkey with the gizzards inside for thanksgiving. Now, I do give my birds special treats here and there when i prepair them something so I thought what if I do the same with little oreo give some raw things to him as a treat every now and then. However, The turkeys with the gibblets what all is in it and would they be alright to give to little oreo as his thanksgiving meal?

My guys love the gibblets, they're rather fond of turkey too. You're wee one is very young so hasn't become imprinted by kibbles yet, so he will probably eat them. Just so there are no problems make sure that your remove his kibble for a couple of hours so the raw meat and kibble mix doesn't upset his stomach (they process at different rates and some ferrets get stomach upsets) ciao

I go yes.

Since he's tiny yet, you can cut them. I feed them whole. And he can have anything you can name as meat, as long as it's not smoked, salted, spiced, etc

Yes, but you will also have to feed the bones too. He can have any meat, pork, turkey, chicken, quails, beef......endless. The only thing is it cannot be processed (hams, bacon, smoked meats) or injected (flavour enhanced...too much salt) ciao
