Oh, just thought of something...not to be total party pooper (sorry Fenton)...but be very careful around the watermelons especially the seeds, even the seedless have clear seeds that could cause blockages. ciao

Thanks Heather, I only let him lick the watermelon a couple times As for the banana, I have no idea what he sees in them! He wants them so bad, then once he runs off with a banana and hides it, he doesn't touch it again! He doesn't try to eat it or anything! ;D Kinda like with lemons or limes, they go nuts if they get a hold of one, especially Fiona who likes to roll it around with her front and rear paws, but not eat it or chew on it... They must like the smell or something?

It's got to be the smell. I've heard of many ferrets going nuts trying to get things like oranges, lemons, etc.

Shiloh will go CRAZY if anyone in the room has a banana. It probably is the smell. Cute little boy!

I don't know but maybe the wee ones are smarter than we give them credit for....fleas hate citrus fruit. If you rub the outer skin of a citrus, the smell comes off on your fur. As for the bananas....that's just pure and simple thievery ;D ;D ;D ;D ciao
