Anyone have any tips on how i should set it up next time i clean it? i want it to be amazing! here is a picture of it now. if you see the tub on top of the cage, it is because my absolutly BEST ferret decided he was smart enough to figure out there was skrews missing from the top part that just sits on these two bars. he likes to knock it off and get out haha! OH and look at my absolutly AMAZING new carrier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(in attachment) My cage is so boring, i want some fun ideas to "spice" up the cage a bit:) make it more fun while i am not here during the day

The carrier looks really cool, is it collapsible? Just kind of looks like it folds up for easy storage, which is neat..
I think your cage looks nice, but I dunno how you manage with 1 tiny little corner box for 5 fuzzes! I have a HUGE box, and at one point I had 6 ferrets and was scooping it out 3x a day to keep it clean!

That carrier looks cool!! Does it fold up? I dunno what to say about that litterbox though, I would get a bigger one... My ferrets would absolutely revolt if I tried to make them use one that small, and there's only 3 of them ;D I'm surprised with 5 that they don't just poop all over in protest ;D Plus it probably fills up pretty quickly with 5. I think the cage looks pretty cool other than the litterbox. Maybe you could add something like a shelf to the top cage for more space to sleep or hang out? Or another idea, you could cut some holes in a big plastic bin and suspend it from the ceiling, providing additional horizontal surfaces for them to climb or sleep on, for example like the bin in the upper left corner of this cage: P1010710 by walkerstop, on Flickr Or another idea, you could add a plastic tunnel for them to climb though, maybe strap it to the walls of the cage so it leads from one level to another or something? They love crawling through tubes...

hah! i had just cleaned the cage, then put the ferrets in it because they were sitting in my AMAZING new carrier i forgot to put the other TWO litter boxes in it! haha.! The shelf on the top cage broke, they never went on it anyway, and Coda is PERFECTLY fine with HER hammock. haha! Oh and mikeybox, that is just cool! is it strong??

The carrier Fits four ferrets PERFECTLY and comfortably! its HUGE and sturdy too! it is twice the size of the standered cat carrier! i have not tried to take it apart yet... i got it from the shelter, a lot of people bring their ferrets with stuff also! so they sell things and OFTEN the volunteers take the stuff home!

I only have the one little guy but he has to have a dishpan for a litter box, anything smaller and he'll poop in it once before he considers it dirty lol! Even with the large dishpan, once he's gone in each of the corners, it's to dirty to use anymore and he moves it from the corner to go. I have a little fuzzy clean freak! The best part is that if it's to dirty to use, he waits until he's let out and runs into our bathroom to go, right next to the toilet. I wish we had more than one bathroom, he'd be so easy to train to use the toilet
