Hello,
I'm Yossarian. I've been a ferrent since September fifteenth. I have two boys, Huck and Blake. They are both five years of age. I'm hoping to get them both on a raw diet.
I ususally don't do introductions since I'm not very skilled with them. Feel free to ask any questions, I'd be more than happy to answer them.

Hi and welcome on board Please feel free to prowl around read through threads, ask questions...everyone's friendly and more than willing to help out. If you're interested in the raw diets then please pop into the nutritional section. Read through some of the mentoring threads, you can't post there but there's ton of switching information. I hope that I will be seeing you around Photos of your little ones are always welcome, too ;D ciao

Hi Yossarian, and welcome Please, make yourself at home here. And don't be afraid to ask questions- there's usually someone who's experienced what you may be wondering, and can answer for you. I should warn you though- we can get pretty demanding about seeing PICTURES!!!!! ;D

Blake after I removed Huck from on top of him after their nap. I believe he is a silver. He has grey and white fur, some of which is yellowish. Blake in distress. Fear not I resuced him after I took the picture. Huck after I woke him from his nap. He's a standard sable. Huck emerging from the bat cave. Full body Huck.

Nope. They are my first. I contemplated getting them for years before I began the step to obtaining them.
I knew Huck and I were meant for each other at the first lick...lick...lick... almost chomp. Blake charmed me with his charming attitude and fasination with chasing things.

They sound like a wonderful introduction to the ferret world While you are waiting for a mentor, why not start a thread in the "newbie question" section of the nutrition area? We can at least give you a start on getting these guys on a better diet!

Thanks for the welcome.
Yossarian has left a lasting impression that will never fade.
They were cute until they attempted to hide the whole bag of puppy training pads this morning...then they became adoreable!
Should have taken a picture.....

Welcome to the best place on line! You will soon learn, if you haven't already, that unless you have camera in hand, charged and ready 24/7 you are always going to be saying "should have taken a picture"...
