Hello! My name is Morgana
I've been curious about feeding a natural diet to my ferrets when I first heard about it and I stumbled into this site :b
I sort of have a mini zoo at home: a cat, 7 fish, a salamander, a rabbit, a hamster and 2 ferrets.
My cat already feeds on a natural diet and my rabbit... well... eats grass and hay of my garden I suppose thats natural enough. My other pets eat "pet store food"
I currently feed my ferrets the marshall premium ferret diet along with some Furo vite.
My little girl, Ryu, has been with me since this past May and I got her from an owner who fed her only bad quality cat food and a grape every now and then. She is extremely small and slim, so I want to give her the best cares I can afford. She is a very calm, slow-moving and sometimes I get the impression she is sad. Reason why I decided to get her a friend and now try to switch her diet. She is young though, about a year and a half (I don't have her papers yet)
My "little" boy, Havoc, I bought off Marshall in Madrid. He seems to be healthy enough and a very energetic and lively loving boy. Together they are such a great contrast that reminds me of a hyperactive puppy trying to play with an old lazy cat. But I've caught her dooking and bouncing about him when I'm on the PC.
By giving Ryu a friend I've seen her play a bit more and gain some vitality (helped by some extra vitamins) But I think one of the main problems she has is her diet.
Would switching her to a natural diet give her a healthier look and take away the gloominess?
