Hi there, as you can see I'm a new member. Some of you may know me from the Ferret.com forum. Anywho, I am VERY curious about raw meat. I don't currently have a ferret, but will get one in the future. During the time I have before I get a ferret, I want to learn AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE before getting my ferret. My goal is to be a ferret expert before I even have the ferret. Although that may not be possible as the best information comes with personal experience soo.... Oh! By the way, we are trying to move from state to state, and I'll only get my fert if we move. If we don't, I will have to wait until I can have my very own house. I currently only have one pet, a cat named Kitkat. I have had other pets before, like a beta fish, four rabbits, and even two rats. I will post a different thread in a different category about my thoughts about raw. I hope to get to know those of your on this forum!

Hi, and welcome Please feel free to post, browse, ask questions, join the conversations, etc. Check out the nutrition section to try to get a feel for a raw diet, especially the "newbie questions" area there. At the top of every board, there is a section for stickies, resources, etc. Read through those, tons of info. Looking forward to seeing you around, and thanks for doing your research prior to getting your fuzz

Welcome! I'm glad you are doing your research first! Ferrets are a LOT of work, but SO worth it! Ask all the questions you can think of, and keep in mind that you never stop learning, but the more you can prepare ahead the better!
