First day with my new fuzzy!

It's been four years since I had my last fuzzy underfoot.
After four weeks of searching, I found Charm. Today is her
first day home, and it has been SO much fun! She had no
problem sitting in my lap for most of the two and a half
hour drive home. Once home she ran a mock around the house
chasing the dogs around and using the potty in all the
wrong spots. Then once she had a good run I picked her up,
and she fell asleep in my arms. She stayed in my arms for
over an hour before she snuck away to sleep in the couch.
After a long while I took her out to feed her and let her use
her litter box, she did very well the second time around.
We played a quick game of tag, and she dooked circles around
me, squeaking like crazy. Next she went on a treasure hunt.
She found a chewy toy, some pizza, two pairs of head phones,
a cup holder, a sock, and a remote control. After collecting
such an amazing horde, she decided to chase Gracie (my heeler mix)
around the living room. I am completely satisfied Charm has
joined the family. It's 3 o'clock in the morning, and I am
just now getting to settle down for sleep. Excited to continue threading, and learning! Thanks y'all for such a great site!

It is amazing what they can find that WE forgot to put up to prevent them from getting into trouble, and to keep them safe, isn't it?
Also, glad you decided to only let Charm and your pup play while you were there!

Absolutely adorable. Your wee one sounds adorable....I second...where's the pictures
I'm glad you supervised the play between your wee one and your heeler. Hunting dogs sometimes forget that little ones aren't prey. I watch my wolfhound closely, even though he was raised from wee baby with the fuzz and wouldn't dream of hurting them (there's no hunting allowed in the house...hunting is outside ) he's a big boy and not always sure where his feet are Take care, those treasures your wee one found can all give her a blockage if she chooses to chew on them (but then I'm sure you knew that already All remotes, cell phones, hand held communication devices, head phones (especially with ear buds, we've had at least 4 or 5 emergency surgeries this year on the forum of various baby fuzzes and a couple of adults who decided this dangerous but obviously delectible treat was a desired component to a ferret's diet), erasers and other chewy devices and products should all be removed and put in places that your wee fuzz cannot get to. I also (when I had one) ripped apart my sofa, to check for various things that fall out of pockets or are left on cushions and fall between cushions and into the sofa itself. Ferret proofing is an ongoing and time consuming process but well worth the effort and cost. Emergency rushes to the vet are costly as is the surgery not to mention the drain on your mental state of mind. Enough of the lecture ;D. I'm sure you knew most of that stuff anyway, having had a ferret before but as it's been considerable time since you have had one I thought I would remind you and others on board who have just got and are getting new fuzzies.
She sounds absolutely adorable, wee would love to see some photos. Enjoy her and take a lot of pictures, they're babies for just a wee bit of time (it never seems long enough )
