Hi, and welcome Best place to start is applying for a mentor: holisticferret60.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=switch&action=display&thread=61In the interim, we can help you right here if you like Since they are already eating chicken mince, chunks, and wings, start adding in another protein that you can easily get. Pork, beef, turkey, cornish hen, etc. You can get them eating this most easily by snipping it into smaller pieces, and mixing a few in well with their chicken meat. Oh, and while I'm at it- come on over to the "welcome" section and introduce yourself and your fuzzy family so we can give you a proper welcome

you are in the right place! these folks can switch even the most stubborn of ferrets. you will see the difference in your ferrets and you will love it! and kick yourself for not doing it sooner! may i ask, what is a "biscuit"? is that another word for kibble?

Since they've already got the taste for raw, getting them on other proteins won't be too hard It's just getting the diet balanced(which isn't too difficult, either )

Have you tried chopping it up small, and mixing a wee bit in with the chicken? Also, just so you are aware, although fish is good as a "sometimes" protein, it shouldn't be fed regularly because of all the toxins that are in them now. No more than once a week.

ahh I see thankyou, Dylan had a tiny bit more today, hes getting it as treats rather than an actual meal, but i have to say hes getting greedy. Had a lot of mince before, cant wait to try him on some organs and bones!

With bones, they generally have to build up some jaw strength with muscle meats first. Wing tips and ribs are great starter bones for them to chew on. Organ meats can sometimes be...difficult ;D They've got a much stronger scent/flavour. Some take to them right away, others you have to trick into eating them
