Any tips for removing dried rodent urine from plastic and glass surfaces? The hamsters always pee in the same spot (which can be nice) but this has led to a buildup of crystalized urine on that corner of the cage. I want to sell my old cage so I want to make sure it is very clean.
Tips?

You could try soaking it with some vinegar overnight. That's usually my go-to get rid of stuck on crap.

Vinegar - tried and true! Used it on hamster and guinea pig cages for years.

My mom never let me clean with vinegar when I had mice and rats, she made me take the cage out back with a scrubber and a hose and a 1pt bleach to 5 pts water mixture (this is how we discovered bleach makes my skin come off, lol, im really allergic) it worked well.. though if I were u I'd try vinegar first lol

vinegar will work - use it straight and let it soak for a while before wiping away.
you can also use nature's miracle - same thing with letting it soak for a while.
