Thank you! Piglet is a pit, unless we are somewhere with breed discrimination, then she is a Dogo Argentino mix Pilgrim is pretty much a heinz 57, but we are pretty sure he has Akita in him and I recently encountered a purebred Irish wolfhound and he has the exact same coat texture and facial expressions so that may be in there too. And yes thank you, that is my little herd! I think theyre beautiful, but I am a bit biased, so its nice to hear from someone else!

I understand the breed discrimination - pits are illegal in Miami Dade county (used to live there). They're amazing dogs and I love them to pieces

Beautiful animals! Can't blame you for the slight "deception" on the breed discrimination thing. Only reason we were allowed to keep our staffie where we are now is she was "grandfathered" in. I love the personality of pitties and staffs- such loving, loyal animals.

As a horse person I don't really understand breed discrimination at all. A horse a is not a specific breed unless it is registered as that breed, regardless of it's appearence or what its parents are. A lot of pits are not registered, like Piglet, but people can just say they are a pit and that's good enough? I don't really get it, haha. She is a great dog she just has a little bit of selective hearing, unless you have food, then she doesn't miss a thing hahaha.

Love that you named her Piglet. We have a pit and we're always calling her our little piggy. She's also only a pit based on where we are renting. Otherwise she's a basset hound/bulldog mix. And what I wouldn't give for a Dogo Argentino!
