The white one (Shivers) attacked my boyfriend when he was squeaking the toy to play with the puppy. The females do have a draw to it, lol. Our male that we've had since June actually attacked her and pinned her down when he saw her locked onto his arm. Anyone had a guard ferret before? O.o

They're beautiful!
... and my guys did the same exact thing when Hiko came. He couldn't even hiss at me without getting ambushed (hissing at the business didn't seem to upset them that much, just me). Let alone the two times he actually got me (before he settled down into the mama's boy he is now LOL). I think it's so adorable. BAMF ferrets!
... whoa, missed that very last pic somehow. WOW, ouch.

They have sweet little faces. Little cuteys That is a nasty bite. I think that playing squeeky toys with the dog might not be a good idea when the ferrets are up and about. Ferrets are often disturbed and even confused by the squeeking of various pet toys. ciao

Only "guard" ferrets I've had concern their bonded cage mates Boris attacked me when he thought I was hurting Sinnead(tummy tickles), and Vincent tried to take a chunk out of the vet when Lucrezia had her shots. She screamed, and wet herself, and he went ballistic!

Oh wow, that looks pretty close to what happened to my bf with our new girl Riley. And we definitely have a guard ferret, Booth. He's mommy's baby ^^
Any time Riley acts up he comes over and tackles her. Sadly, all the boys are too rough with her so it's usually not a good thing when he helps me lol
But your two girls are adorable!

Cute little she ferrets! But.. Only 1 pic? That is a bad bite. I'd rule out squeaky toys for them. For your sake.

It's hard to take the pics on the phone, and have it turn out good, lol. We don't currently have a camera yet, hopefully we'll have one soon Oh, and they looooove bacon. Is that alright for them? If I read right, the fat is good for them, and it is a pork... It's the only meat all four of them will eat without making a soupie out of it.

Unfortunately, most bacon is NOT okay for ferrets. It's cured in tons of salt and possibly sugar and nitrates. Unless you can buy that cut of meat without ANY processing, steer clear of it. Pork is good, but any meat that's processed/cured it not okay to feed.

Agreed. Stay away from the package bacon. I can get "natural" bacon here(it's usually wrapped like any other meat), with no processing, and yes- they adore it, but I wouldn't give the other.
