I soak mine in warm water for about 5-10 mins then blend in the blender. Its usually good for 4-6 hours (sometimes more). They dont like it once it turns brownish If I catch it early enough, I can scoop up the left overs and reblend it with more water and fresh freeze dried ;D recycle!

the good thing about having a dog along with ferrets is that whatever raw mush Sonny doesn't eat, the Bud will come around and eat the rest of it! does anyone else's ferret slurp their raw mush broth/soupies ? Sonny slurps. its hilarious. i have to film it one of these days. my husband always says "that is SO annoying! can't you eat like a normal ferret?!" afterward Sonny's chin is FULL of mush which he wipes off on the carpet or on the dog's bed. he's so cute.

Sonny the slurper? ;D No mine all eat normally and then usually come over to show their appreciation by rubbing soup on my pants.

Slurp, are you kidding? Boris has to be fed his soups off a spoon while on my lap Guess I should be happy he doesn't insist it's silver ;D
