The last of the four little Stinkers passed yesterday. Her insulinoma had been getting stedily worse and it became uncontrollable. The best thing to do was to let her go otherwise a seizure would take her. At least Nibbles won't have to deal with it anymore. I'd like she's on the other side being her fun goofy self. rumble.com/vifqyp-just-a-clip-of-baby-nibbles-and-the-laundry-basket.html

Oh, no, I'm so sorry. I loved their videos. I will miss them. Sometimes I find myself browsing old photos and videos of my lost little furbs to bring them back for a few minutes. They all take a little piece of us with them so we can find them at the Bridge.
DIP Nibbles. You and your stinker buds made me smile many times when I needed it.

It's the worst. I liked on your post because like you, I am having to consider a Final Vet Visit with an insulinoma boy who is having more bad days than good, and I don't want his last day to be in a screaming seizure. My heart is so with you.

unclejoe I am glad to have all the videos that I do and wish that I had more. I'm glad that they made you smile too. Maybe they'll still make people smile in years to come. I would like that. silentdook May heart and prayers goes out to you too. It's a rough position to be in.

I am so sorry. I can not stop crying every time i read that a 'baby'from our forum passed away. And i am afraid that I will have to face a similar situation soon...Luna is almost 7 years old. My heart breaks for Nibbles. As you understand i am not the right person to give courage in such situations.

vivi Thank you. I think that you do a good job of giving courage in these situations. I hope you'll still have plenty of time with Luna.

vivi all of us who love our pets will go through loss. It's part of being an animal lover. I've lost 28 ferrets, 4 dogs, a dozen kats, a few gerbils. Even today, when one of my kats brings home a live prey animal I try to rescue it. i have raccoons that I hand feed almost nightly, and I know they only live a few years. I don't hand feed the deer, but I know when they don't show up for food I left out. We can only be thankful for the time we have with them. We make each other happy when we are together and look forward to a happy reunion some day. Rocky, from 2 years ago, the first brave coon IMG_1438 by unclejoe1158, on Flickr

Oh gosh, I am so sorry. DIP precious little soul. All of my babies are gone too. I am taking care of a colony of feral cats instead of ferrets for right now.
