Hello! The ferret litter I use was discontinued (Yesterdays News) and I have no idea what else to use. Does anyone have any suggestions for non scented/ non clumping litter?

Long time ago I used that, but when I had multiple ferrets, I started putting paper towels in my litter pans. The sectioned ones fit better in pans. Then, I started using puppy pads outside of cage and kept a couple litter pans in the cage. I have also used pads from Walmart that are used for humans. I found them in the disposable underwear section.
Sorry could not help on a litter brand. Maybe someone will give you advice on that.

Exquisicat cat litter is basically the same thing as YN, and cheaper!
We use the 100% hard wood stove pellets, $5-6 for a 40 lb bag. It's not everyone's cuppa tea with the way it disintegrates, but it's so cheap I can dump half the boxes daily, scoop it easily, and it doesn't have that awful pine scent like equine bedding.

abbeytheferret6 silentdookThank y’all! I have no idea how to reply I am still very new to this website. I wish I could use puppy pads or paper towels but my ferret tears them up. I will be trying out the Exquisicat litter.

I used incontinence pads. They are expensive but can be reused hundreds of times.
we put them in their litter box and then take them outside and hose them off, they are then washed and sanitized in the laundry. we buy enough of them that we don't have to wash them daily.
in the long run they save money over liter or puppy pads and they cannot tear them up.
The hosing them off outside also keeps rodents away as well.

msav Where do you get them? I'm only finding underwear type in my search. My girl shreds and stashes puppy pads so I'm game for trying other things for travel.

I use pine horse bedding pellets from Tractor Supply. There are other brands. Make sure they are kiln dried.

I use World's Best Cat Litter. I like how it clumps and is easy to scoop but it's made from corn cob, not clay.

I think you can try those puppy pads from Costco. If I recall they should be about $20 for ~100

msav Where do you get them? I'm only finding underwear type in my search. My girl shreds and stashes puppy pads so I'm game for trying other things for travel. you can find them on amazon, but probably not the best price. last batch I found a good deal on Ebay. do a search for washable or re-usable incontinence bed or chair pads They come in different sizes. we have tried to order large ones and cut them but that was a bad Idea. We ended up finding a size that was larger than the ferret nation pans and put velcro on the pads and glued velcro on the bottom of the pans. we also have smaller ones for the shelves and ordered some for the litter boxes. We also have some that we put in the corners of their play area. that occasionally works as they sometimes like to move them out of the way to go on the floor. Trying to come up with a non-permanent way to attach them on the laminate floor to prevent this. we get this brand. they are thick and very well made. They have just started getting thin and less absorbent after 6 years. We also like the Medline brand www.amazon.com/Large-Washable-Underpads-incontinence-reusable/dp/B077ZXJ36Z/ref=sr_1_27?crid=9JB57K3KD1P2&keywords=re-usable+incontinence+chair+pads&qid=1659463331&sprefix=re-usable+incontinence+chair+pads%2Caps%2C116&sr=8-27

There are at least 3 safe scoopables I am aware of. World's Best(corn cob), Swheat Scoop(wheat hull), and Naturally Fresh Walnut(walnut shell). What you need to avoid are all clay based litters, as well as gel based.
