Hey guys, so basically just what the title says. My noodle has been excessively salivating and pawing at his mouth pretty hard? He did not have this behavior yesterday, I just noticed after coming home from work. He won’t let me look at his mouth too much but i did notice he scratched it to the point of tearing a part of his gum? He has adrenal gland disease but i figured that probably has no relation to this. anyone have any idea what’s going on???

That’s a sign of nausea, will he eat/drink? If it lasts more than a few hours I would get him to the vet.

How old is the ferret? It could also be related to insulinoma. I would have him checked out.

So i gave him a couple hours and he took a snooze and started to feel better, i’m not entirely sure what happened but he has been eating, drinking and acting just fine since then. He is 4. I’m going to keep an eye on him over the next couple days and if he starts acting weird again i’m going to call my vet.
