Is feline pine litter safe for the fuzzys? i’ve tried doing my own research but see very mixed results on the subject.

Feline pine is fine, both the pellets and the scoopable. It's been heat treated to remove the oils.holisticferret60.proboards.com/thread/9963/feline-fresh-pine-cat-litterThat is what Sherry said. You can call the company and see if they are heat treated---or just see if it smells like pine---if so, I do not think i would use them. When I used pellets they were paper and unscented. But maybe someone here will know more about the subject. Hope you find out.

Thank you, it says it has no added chemicals and it’s 100% pure pine. They’re using a mix of the pine and paper , i just wanted other opinions before completely switching. it seems better at holding the smell than the paper does

I use World's Best Cat Litter. It's made from corn. It's eco friendly, septic safe, scoopable, and dust free. It's good for odour control too and lasts longer then regular cat litter. Now I only have one ferret but the bag lasts me a very long time!

I've used pine horse bedding pellets for years. 40 lb at tractor supply for around 6 bucks follow directions and lightly wet the pellets. It will break down to saw dust and then you can scoop it. I scoop out whatever is wet when I clean the boxes, but it does well at controlling odor for several days.
