Hi everyone I'm a new ferret mum and because I don't do things by half, I took on 3 Jill's! They are around 8 to 9 weeks old. We got our first, Suey, a silver, possibly angora ferret from a relative whose son took her on but she needed extra care as we have found out. She is the smallest, friendliest, fluffiest and most vocal member. The other two were meant to be one, the Chop to our Suey, but for whatever reason, the breeder gave us two and we decided to take on the challenge. Choppy is the boss of our 'business', very outgoing, scared of nothing, nosey and a bit food aggressive. She will be held but prefers to run about. She is a danger panda with dark markings. Then there is Bean, the shy girl who bit us all on day one but has become quite friendly and loves to be held but on her terms. She will run to safety at any fright but soon comes investigating. She is a champagne colour, with light brown legs. We have them out for roughly 2 hours a day, ½ hour sessions but they tire and went fed after that. Sometimes they come put all together, more often then not its Choppy who wants to explore and get rid of her energy.
