Yes sometimes they are just noisy eaters. Rocky has always done the same thing.

I think some of them mouth breathe so they don't snort up their food.

I think some of them mouth breathe so they don't snort up their food. yeah I have had a few that ate like they didn't know when they would eat again. That said, I've taken in a couple stray kats that did that too. Some ferrets just do that. They all have unique personalities. As long as they don't gag, it's fine.
