For accidents with the newgirl (now proudly named Soapi) do you need specific carpet spray to take the smell out of it, or does regular dish soap work for cleanup? I never had this with Oatie, she picked it up quick, but the poor cramped up girl I got just doesn't know quite yet. (She does use her litterbox, but sometimes while out she just gets too excited.) I know with dogs, it sinks down and they continually go in that spot... if so, does anyone know what brand I should pick up? Thanks!

You want an enzyme cleaner, like Nature’s Miracle. There are many other brands. Otherwise soap and vinegar will work pretty well.

Enzyme, that's the word I couldn't think of, thank you. I'll try vinegar first, and if that doesn't work, yeah I'll grab some of that. Thank you!

I used enzyme cleaner for years until I found this stuff. smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QNMN84/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1It's a concentrated all natural orange oil based cleaner. 2 caps will make a full spray bottle of cleaner and add some vinegar to make it more effective for cleaning ferret waste. It's also handy when you discover a hidden pooping site and need a bigger job with a sponge and bucket. I purchased it a year ago and only used half a bottle of concentrate.
