Hi! it's been a while (I'll do a separate update later)
okay so I saw a tiktok video on Pinterest that shows a girl bathing her ferret with shampoo and "non toxic" hair chalk. Now obviously the shampoo isn't good for them, but would the "non toxic" hair chalk be okay? personally based on everything I know about ferrets it isn't.
All I did was give a simple warning to get people to think before doing crap like this and everyone is arguing with me about it, because clearly a non ferret owner knows sooooo much more than a ferret owner –_–...
I say "non toxic" because the video claims it to be but I don't know the brand so I can't say for sure.

Since ferrets groom themselves---I do not see how it could be ok. We r always finding out how things once considered safe r not. Anyway it might not be toxic on human skin but what about consumed? Found this www.sears.com/maydear-temporary-hair-chalk-comb-non-toxic-washable/p-A020641215WPROP 65 WARNING: This product can expose you to some chemicals, which is known to the State of California to cause For more information, go to PROP 65 WARNING: This product can expose you to some chemicals, which is known to the State of California to cause For more information, go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

Idk how the chalk is used, but chalk is mostly diatoms, which are tiny mollusk shells, hard and sharp as glass. Think diatomaceous earth, which is sometimes used to fight fleas. I would not want my ferret inhaling that.
