I wrote this whole reply but my computer acted up and I lost my reply. UH! Any way, I have a bunch of stuff in my bathroom including razors I got for free with using coupons and working the sales. Where do you live and what stores do you have in your area? I'll compile a list of websites and tips for you on how to save boat loads of money if you want. It takes a bit of work but is SO worth it especially if it can save you money on things food stamps wont cover. I mean I got a BIG BOX of huggies once for $1 ! Any way let me know and I'll get that list started for you. ETA: Here is a pic of stuff I got for little to nothing and this isn't even all of it...

Ok I'll start on the list and what not and once I get it all written out I'll paste it in a reply to this thread. I'll get on it right now. ;D Like you said, if you can save every where else you might could keep your fuzzy.
ETA: I go the diapers with a combo of extra care bucks from CVS and stacking coupons. Can save you BIG TIME money if you know how to do it right.

This is something I wrote for a family friend about how to save money doing coupons. As for the names of the news papers all you need to do is replace your papers names in where mine are. *WARNING!* First I would like to say that in order to do any of this you will have to be 100% determined to be dedicated. The coupon thing takes a lot of time, effort and work. I can’t tell you how long it took me to make up lists, find and clip coupons and the trips to the stores them selves, took. If you are not dedicated to it you will fail and not save any where near as much as you could. That being said, let's continue. ***First off you have to buy your Sunday news papers. I always buy two. (get more if you can) It used to be that you would buy the AJC but they have in the past few months no longer included the inserts in the AJC for the Athens area. So you need to buy the Athens Banner Harold. Always check the news papers for the inserts. Some times people steal them or they are a fluke paper that didn't get it. The inserts are Red plumb, P&G and smart source. Not every week will you have all three and some times you may have two from the same provider. Like one Red Plumb and two Smart source will be in the paper one week, for example. ***Look for coupons every where you can. If you keep an eye out you can find them every where. Look in boxes. For example: The inside of a hamburger helper box has a coupon save .75 cents off three boxes hamburger helper. Some boxes can have small coupon books in them. Like big boxes of diapers, or fruit roll ups may have coupon books. Sign up for store saver cards and select to be sent coupons in the mail. Check your mail for fliers that have manufactures coupons. Keep an eye out in your magazines for coupons. (They are mostly in women magazines.) You can also buy stacks of hundreds of coupons on ebay, for pennies. (This is safe also, I have done this too.) ***Online coupons: There are a lot of web sites that have printable coupons. You are only permitted to print two of the same coupon per-IP address. So if there is a good sale on something we would need every computer to print it's two coupons. Most of the sites will ask you to download the coupon printer soft ware. Don't worry these are safe and will not harm your computer, I've been using them for years. ***Organize: If you have the time, make yourself a coupon binder (example here: ) I have one but I need to clean it out. You you don't want to go into the work of a binder then I suggest you get an accordion file folder and file the inserts by the date they came out. Doing this will help to find coupons and save on time spent looking for them. The plus to having a binder Vs. a file folder is they are easier to carry to the store, in case you find something on sale that ws not listed in the weekly flier or see something on clearance that you have a coupon for. ***Know the store policies: This is a must. You need to know the store policies on rain checks, coupon doubling, coupon stacking and if they take competitors coupons. Take publix and CVS. CVS rain checks are good for life. Publix rain checks are good for two weeks. Publix will let you not only stack coupons (where you stack a store coupon and a manufactures coupon together) but they will also let you stack store coupons with a competitor coupon and a manufactures coupon. So in the long run you can use 3 coupons on one item getting if for free or even making you some money that will roll over to the other items! Most stores double coupons .50 cents or lower. Some require to to spend a certain amount. Ingles will double 3 coupons (.50 cents or less) for every $10 you spend. So say you spend $50, they will double 15 coupons. You also have to watch for limits on sales. Say CVS has Venus razors on sale for $9 and you get $5 extra care bucks for buying it and you have two coupons that are $5 off. But there is a limit. You can only buy one per house hold. So to get your money's worth you buy one, and in the long run you actually made $1 for buying it. You wait to see if it goes on sale again the next week or later on. Some stores even have a policy where you can only use as many coupons as you have items. Like Walgreens. Say you have three items that you have coupons for and there was also a coupon in the store flier for the three items. So you have 6 coupons for 3 items. With Walgreens policy you have to have 6 items to equal the 6 coupons. So you end up having to look for penny items to use as fillers. ***Don't buy something just because you have a coupon for it. Unless you REALLY need it, wait for it to go one sale. Ok so far that’s the general gist of it. Another way to get more coupons AND free product is through Heyit’sfree.net They have 100% legit freebies. They are like basically samples of stuff with high value coupons. I have gotten entire boxes from companies of samples with tons of high value coupons with the samples. I got a box once with several snack packs of wheat thins and granola pars with coupons for a free box of mac n’ cheese and free 100 cal cheese snacks. Also, this site will provide you with points to things like pampers gifts to grow. NEVER throw your pampers points out! USE THEM. I have gotten star bucks gift cards from it AND was able to get $50 worth of stuff from Diapers.com for $10 using $10 gift cards I got from pampers points. Another good thing to use is swagbucks.com Make an account and down load their search engine. You use it just like google and you can earn sawg bucks from time to time using it. You then redeem you sawg bucks for things like gift cards. This is legit and REALLY WORKS! I got $25 in Amazon gift cards I used for Christmas shopping. Don’t bother with Wal-Mart unless there is something out of the ordinary you need that you know they have cheaper there than any where else. Like Rubbermaid boxes. And if you go into Wal-Mart always check first if they have what you need in clearance. Beware of their “rollbacks” I worked for Wal-Mart for 10 years and they lie about that. If you look at the regular label behind the pretty red one it’s the same price. Wal-Marts only true sales are ones in the flier for things they don’t normally carry. Like a certain model of a dell lap top. CVS is a GREAT place to save money on personal care stuff. Look at what you’re needing to get and what the extra care bucks you would get for it. Pick a couple of your items with the biggest extra care buck pay out and then roll those over to the next transaction and so on. I got $100 worth of stuff once from them in a span of 5 transactions and only paid for the first transaction which was only about $10. They know what the deal is and they don’t mind. You don’t have to hide or go to several dif CVS stores to do it. Just lay one transaction on the counter then the next then the next. Also don’t forget to scan your card at the saver kiosk when you first some in. Some times you’ll get a coupon for $5 off you next order of $25 or more or more extra care bucks. Never forget to take your coupons with you and always check the little blinking boxes with coupons. Snag as many as you can with in reason. You wanna save some for the next person. Honestly as far as food goes I save the most on food Publix. They always have awesome BOGO’s and you can stack their store coupons with a manuf. Coupon saving you more. Here are some web sites that will help a great deal with learning how to do this. www.heyitsfree.net/coupondivas.com/printable-grocery-coupons.htmlwww.swagbucks.com/refer/vkp23www.shop4freebies.com/www.couponmom.com/If you have any more questions feel free to ask and I’ll be happy to answer them. All of the thing I mention in this post are 100% legit. I am a scaredy cat when it comes to possibly putting myself or my computer at risk. these are all things I've check out and use myself. They are safe.

Wow, that is excellent advice, Victoria! It's Virginia actually LOL ;D But that's ok I've been called Victoria before! LOL And you're welcome to all of you! One of the things I forgot to mention is you go shopping with a stock pile mentality. Once you get a stock pile built up some then you really only will shop for what you can get for free or need! ETA: The awesome thing about doing this is you can get good name brand stuff for WAY cheaper than the store brand stuff. (some times even for free!) I didn't pay for a single one of my 5 Venus razors that normally would cost around $11 ! That coupon divas web site also has GREAT tutorial vids that she does on YouTube. She also is always on the look out and shows you haw to save on other things like kids clothes, back to school shopping, even when going out to eat. It's a GREAT web site for helping you save money and the site is 100% free to use. Don't bother with "the grocery game" site. You have to pay for the service. If you live in the south, use southernsavers.com They can make up printable lists, and match the coupons and even provide links to the printable coupons. I'm not sure if they have sister sites to other regions though.
