I have the Martin's Ferret Penthouse (F-470) now for my one boy Yeah, he's spoiled! I really like that he has tons of room to run around. We both love it, but it's such a hassle to move and clean! The doors are so small, and the bottom is wire with a drop-in pan (not good for his accidents/spills ) I'm considering selling that cage and getting a Ferret Nation 142/143. I like that the doors fully open on the FN and it's on wheels. It seems like a breeze to clean. The F-470 is 18x48x60 in, but I couldn't find good actual cage measurements for the FN 142/143. I'm bad at math, too... Is the FN bigger or smaller than the F-470? Has anyone had both cages? Thanks.

If you can still manage to find a 142, I'd def. go for that. But hold onto the one you've got now til you do!

Those cages are nice and roomy, but I do know what you mean about the doors. Just so you know, if you go to order any Martins cages and want bigger or extra doors they can do that for you When I ordered some of my cages for the show, I had them do so. Martins is a really nice company, they are willing to work with you to fit your needs. Also their cages come in colors! I have a hot pink one for the shows ;D They do have the best cages for traveling/shows though! Also when our shelter had that cage, what they did was just get linoleum and put it down on floors so the ferrets wouldn't walk on wire and it was easy to clean.
