Just to be clear, you're referring to the Flex-Drain, right? And does it matter if it's perforated or not? I appreciate the suggestion. I do like the fact that it's clear. I'll add it to my wish list on Amazon if I can find the same kind on there.

I have bought this twice now and after airing it out in the sun for a couple days and a blow thru with the other end of a vacuum (or hairdryer on cold shot) to get the residual plastic smell out, it's been very sturdy for 6-7 ferrets. I'm picky about where things are made. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MDUGEXE

I bought the same as Silentdook, also aired it out and I also had to burn closed the ends around the metal spiral so it didn't poke anyone. I just wanted a clear option I could easily cut to size and manipulate into shapes. It's been great

Someone on the facebook page posted that they got some black drainage tube that they could form into shapes and it would hold the bends. They said they got it at Lowe's, if you want to check.

Awesome. I appreciate the recommendations everybody. I think I'll go with the 10 foot version of the one silentdook and PatienceTheVirtue linked to. It looks like it'll definitely be chew-resistant.
