Hello, My ferrets have been to the vet now 5 times. They are up to date on rabies and distemper. In July they started getting treated for ear mites. On Friday I take them to the vet to get their last round of ear mite treatment. I have been noticing they have been itching a lot. Not even just their ears but everywhere. I don't know whats wrong. I checked for fleas and i didn't find any. Has anyone had this issue?

I don't know where you are, but it could be the seasonal itchies that can come with a coat change. Also depending on ages etc. it can be one sign of adrenal disease. Those are my first two thoughts.

Ferrets do scratch a lot in general. Does it look like their skin is dry? Ferrets don't need to be bathed often, if at all. Sometimes when they get into things then maybe yes but even then don't use shampoos because that will strip their skin of oils and dry them out causing them to itch more. You can try an oatmeal bath. Also you can give them a bit of salmon oil, I find that helps too, but make sure it's not more then a teaspoon a week.
If it's a coat change like Therese said then I give a raw whole egg scrabbled a week.
