I'm not sure where to post this, my babies are already on raw but I'm wanting to combine the heart/organs for easier meals. I'm just not sure the ratio on how to do this. Right now they get bone/muscle/organ/heart separately but I'm not exactly sure they're getting enough. I'm also going to sign up for the mentor class if I'm able to, but not sure if that would answer all my questions or not. Thanks

Did you read through all the material for raw feeding?
What I do for Charlie, he gets 2 oz of food at each feeding. So he gets 1 meal of 2 oz of hearts and then another meal is 1 oz of liver with 1 oz of kidney and the third meal is a combination of 1 oz heart, 1/2 oz liver and 1/2 oz kidney.
Then if there is whole prey in the diet it will change too. Since Charlie gets 3 meals with whole prey he only gets 1 heart meal and 1 liver/kidney meal because his other organs are in his whole prey meals. The more whole prey there is then the ratios change.
I'd post a link for you but not sure how. lol If you go to the top where it says HFF Website go there and it will have all kids of info!!

You are in the right place.
Yes like Charlie said the exact amount per meal will vary according to individual ferrets, but the ratio should be 1 full meal heart, 1 meal half heart/half liver and other organ, and 1 meal half liver/half other organs. Here is the recommended weekly meal plan from the HFF Website:

I know some people mostly on the FB group, would do 3 meals heart/liver/organ and mix it together. I did that once before and it didn't work well because I blended it up which is just nope lol. I have five ferrets and they get about a pound of meat a meal with usually no left overs.
If I wanted to put these between Friday/sunday combo meals I'm not sure how much of each amount to have. Like my beef heart is 1.71lb, and kidney is 1.04lb and another kidney is .99lb. How do I know of the ratio is right or if I need to add more. (I don't have frozen liver arm this is just what I picked up earlier today). I know it's probably something simple but I can't figure it out on my head to make it easier to break it down so they're getting enough. Sperate heart day is easy, but then you have the other days, and like I said some people make it into three meals.
Everything else with mine is fine, they get boneless and everything. Im just struggling to get the organ/heart days down easier. They're all good eaters tho.
Sorry if all this is confusing, it's not easy for me to explain.
Edit: Would it be better if I took 1lb organ and 1lb liver and mixed it into 1/2 and 1/2 to make a meal for Sunday pm and then divide it further like that for Friday pm? So you'd take 1/2lb heart with 1/4lb liver and 1/4lb organ? Then just do normal heart on wed?

Yep, you got it! I didn't realize you had five--wow! So yes, a pound per meal averages out to around 3 ounces per ferret, that's about average.
