If he's throwing up after the pain meds, this isn't uncommon and should be dealt with immediately. Always make sure that he's either had a dose of carafate/sucralfate or has been fed before giving an nsaid. These drugs are very, very hard on the stomach lining and can very quickly (along with the stress from surgery) cause ulcers ciao

He hasn't thrown up since the first time. I don't even know when the throw up was. I noticed it after I gave him the medication because it was in the corner of the cage behind his food bowl. I have found any puke. He just sleeps now. I check on him every couple of hours. I think he threw up because of the drugs from the surgery and not his medication he has now. He's showing no signs of pain other than sleeping but I think that's just from the medication.
I can't wait until he is healed and feeling better. The stone was the size of a dime in circumference.

Omg he's bleeding again. He had his surgery Oct 7 to remove a bladder stone. On Thursday there was blood in his pee. There was some before that but it was closer to the healing time so I just assumed it was the stitches dissolving.
It's not every pee. It seems to be after he's hyper and flopping all over the place. It's like last time, no straining or any noises while peeing. I feel like it's been too long since the surgery but not long enough for him to form another stone. I called the vet and the lady said she'll ask the doctor and let me know what he says asap. This stresses me out so much. I'm very emotional and I love these guys so much.

Oh no Fingers crossed it's simply an infection and not another stone.

Update. We brought Cad and his ride along buddy, Bossk, to the vet. Cad got an ultrasound and then the dr came out and was telling us about how he could just have an infection and explained the medication and then bossk decided to poop on the ground AND PEE BLOOD!!! He has never peed blood!! I've only ever seen Cad do it. Wtf!! I feel like I look like a horrible ferret parent bossk is scheduled for a stone surgery for the 15th and all the ferrets are going in for a gut grab to see if anyone else has stones. I gave the borrowed security camera back to my parents so I haven't been able to monitor the 2 blood pees I missed happening. But I did see cad do 2 others so I assumed it's him. My new camera is coming in the mail tomorrow. I still can't believe he did that. We brought him to kind of just show him off because he's a big super fluffy guy and he's bonded well with Cad. They snuggle a lot. Was he just waiting to see the dr to tell us he's sick. Lol these guys are exhausting.

I'm so sorry It's so difficult and don't beat yourself up....ferrets are notorious for hiding they're actually ill. This is why we so often jump and say vet ASAP. By the time you find the issue or they're showing they're sick, they're usually very sick ciao
