We live in South Carolina, but I grew up in Florida near the beach and we are visiting my parents there now. My wife got up early this morning (7:30am LOL) and took my daughter and Bow and Nibbles to the beach for their first time. I was full of Debbie Downer advice about birds and laws and blah, blah, blah - but they went anyway and sure enough - they got there and found that they didn't have the harnesses somehow!
But the beach was not crowded yet, so they were careful and gave it a go. My wife only had her iPhone with her so she did the best she could - which is to say, they turned out mostly as good or better than I could have done with my Canon.
Here are some of the better shots and videos.
Sammie holding Bow as he sticks out his tongue at the camera!
Nibbles peeks out from the towel to make sure no Sea Gulls are nearby!
Sammie is holding Nibbles for a photo!
Bow and Nibbles are digging for gold! All they really needed to be successful were some miniature metal detectors!
Nibbles says the sun is awfully bright at the beach!
Nibbles can stick her tongue out at the camera too!
Bow is digging a tunnel, but pauses for a photo!
Bow and Nibbles are venturing out a little farther.
Bow is quite the adventurer!
But, he gets tired too!
Time to go home, but first Bow lays down in the back of the minivan and eats some kibble. Sorry :-(
I will see if I can figure out the videos in the next post.
