Hi everyone, I should probably introduce myself, and more importantly, my ferrets!
I'm a middle-aged woman who lives in Spokane with her SO (significant other.) I have three ferrets and one betta fish. I do graphic design for a living and also draw cartoony art.
My three ferrets are Nefertiti, Valandris, and Claudius Kahless, and we adopted them back in March (2018). Nefertiti and Valandris are about 1.5 year old girls, and Claudius is about 5.5 years old. They've bonded well together and like to play and sleep together.
Nefertiti is an albino, and she has a biting issue. I've learned to manage her, but it's been difficult. She is extremely soft, though, and very opinionated.
Valandris (aka Vivi) is a slinky, long ferret, playful and cute, a sable. For some reason she likes plastic sandwich bags- she gets into the drawer where they're kept and takes them to my bedroom.
Claudius is laid back but still gets excited and jumps around playfully. Sadly, he has just been diagnosed with lymphoma; I made a thread about it here.
Nefertiti and our little Christmas tree.
Valandris is super hard to photograph- she's very wiggly.

What adorable wee mites <3 Welcome on board. I was sorry to read about the lymphoma, it's unfortunately a very common disease in ferrets. I'm presently treating 2 with pred. Please feel free to prowl around and check the forum out. There is a huge amount of information and you will find everyone friendly and helpful ciao

Hello! Glad you found us, and welcome. We've only had one albino, Rosa, and she was a biter. She rarely bit my wife, but I liked to hold her a lot and her signal to put her down was lick lick chomp. She usually gave a a few seconds before the bite, but I was a slow learner, lol. She had tiny needle teeth and it didn't take much to get blood, but she didn't give up trying to teach me.
