I have always wanted a ferret since I was quite young. One day, my spouse and I decided to finally do the prep and go to a ferret adoption agency and finally get out ferrets. It was there we fell in love with a bonded pair of 3. Previously named Sebastian (M), Jasper (M) and Dora (F) We renamed them Ralph, Wally and Pandie respectively. Wally was a fat boy, and I loved him so much. He played fetch and loved his toy mouses. He loved to wrestle with his cage mates and he always was so happy. He ate well and was a happy weasel. But he was the oldest weasel of the bunch. Almost two weeks ago, I found my baby boy on the floor of his cage, sadly gone and across the Bridge. He was an old boy and I love him... his cage mates did too and they are taking it hard. I miss him and still talk about him as though he were still with me. I hope I gave him the best life...

Prayers of comfort for you. May God guide your little Wally over the Rainbow Bridge. Hugs. He was a cutie.

I am trying to teach Scamp to fetch. I would say that you gave him a great life because he liked to play with you and his buddies. I'm sorry he had to go, but a long, happy life is all he could want.

So very sorry for your loss. It's always so hard to say goodbye. You gave Wally a great home with his buddies because you took all of them and gave them a better home then what they had sitting and waiting in the adoption agency. Give your other fuzzies lots of love and cuddles and they will comfort you as you comfort them.

Thank you all so much. When we got them, we had only wanted two, but then these three were brought out and we absolutely loved them all. Wally was a talkative one, he was always grunting and he always loved loved LOOOOVED to lick you. If you put him up to your face, he gave you kisses. I was his favourite. He only give me really big kisses.
Before he crossed, he has slowed down, his age catching up with him. But he still gave me kisses till the very end. Pandie and Ralph are sad, but they have each other and take comfort in snuggling close. I've been giving them a lot of love and affection, making sure they know i'm mourning with them. They're still eating and drinking, thank god, and are hanging on. But they miss him.
