Hi all! I’m Joey, and I’m super excited to join this forum. I have been interested in ferrets since I was young, and finally was able to adopt my 3 girls earlier this year! I know, first time owner, three ferrets? Probably not a great idea. But, I have done lots of research for years and am always open to learning and receiving input on my methods. They are currently eating kibble— icky, I know, but that’s why I’m here! I’m trying to figure out the best way to switch them to raw and what the best meals for them would be. It certainly takes a lot of planning! Thanks for having me!

Hi, and welcome to the forum! I’m glad you’re here. lots of ferrents here feed their fuzzies raw/wholeprey/prey model raw diet. There are great whole food and raw providers online! I like to use Hare Today Gone Tomorrow. For ferrets, (if you are feeding grinds) make sure to get the whole caracss (whole grinds) as it is the perfect ratio for ferrets. Others on here will tell you where they get their meat! It’s always good to get information like this from other people besides just one... I am glad you adopted your ferrets-CONGRATS! I also appluad you for having done years and years of research. I have done the same, it makes me feel good to know that others take the time (like everyone else on here ) to take the time to research! If you have any other questions, just ask! There is no such thing as a stupid question on here and they get answered pretty quickly on here. Plus, everyone is very nice! Until then, take care!

Hello and welcome. I live in the uk so our ferrets are mainly brought up on raw so I can't help you with the switch, but there are plenty of people on here that can help. I feed mine mainly on whole prey, mostly of which they catch there selfs. Enjoy the forum

Hi! Welcome to the forum! How old are your fuzzies and what are their names? You've come to the right place to switch your girls to raw! Sorry for such a late answer! Their names are Violet, Sunny, and Daisy. I think Violet and Sunny can’t be more than 2, but Daisy is just under 1 year old. They’re crazy, but they make my life bright!
