So I have 2 ferrets about a year and half each. About 1-2 months ago I switched them over from Marshalls ferret kibble to the epigen 90 digestive kibble (Black label) my black ferret (bandit) has now been getting cow poops (soft and not a lot of form to them) while Riggy has normal poops. Before on the Marshall diet bandit was having normal poops. Any suggestions? I was thinking of adding just a tiny bit of Marshalls into their dish Everytime I feed. Or maybe add some furovite or type of vitamins to firm up his poop back to normal any suggestions?

Have you ever thought about switching to raw? It’s the best diet for them since they are obligate carnivores! As for the feeding I’ve heard about some ferrets reacting badly to the wysong food so he could possibly be allergic? I believe there’s another better quality kibble brand recommended on the forum but I’m not sure what it’s called.
It could also just be him adjusting to the new food, how long has he been on the new kibble? How often are they fed? And has he eaten anything that he usually doesn’t?
As for supplements avoid anything directed towards ferrets at pet stores and just grab some salmon oil! It’s super awesome for the coat. You can also mix a raw egg into their food once a week, it’s good for hairball prevention not shedding season!

As wysong's is a higher end kibble(fewer fillers) softer stools are to be expected. How is his behaviour otherwise? Also please do NOT give anything like furovite. It is often referred to as insulinoma in a tube as it's basically pure sugar.
