Do all ferrets poop in corners? Is it mostly females? Do they pee in corners too?
How do I Train my ferret to use the litter box?
Are there some ferrets that you just can't litter train at all?

Mine poop in corners. Although they may not travel across a room to go in a corner potty if they have to go badly. I have several potties scattered about so mine will not have to travel a long distance. Mine will also go against the baseboard on a long stretch of wall. So I put a long piece of fabric here and there to keep areas from becoming a latrine. But at the end of stretch of fabric, I put a potty(warn family members to never step on the fabric, as they may bury in it and sleep).
Find favorite areas where they like to pooh and put a potty there too or a doggie pad. Sometimes I just use a doggie pad in corners.
I do have a ferret with the blaze marking who may or may not use a potty. I do not know if other people's blazed marked ferrets are like that. She is a 100% in cage and playpen but not so in a wide open area. Kibble fed ferret pooh a lot. They pooh more than raw fed ferrets. Transit time for ferrets digestive is fast.
My ferrets are pretty well spot on other than the one I mentioned. I do have a craigslist girl that did go everywhere for a few weeks. Maybe because the environment was new. One day I watched her smell someone else's pooh in a potty. She backed up beside it and went. She has been great ever since.

I can't speak for all ferrets but most poo and pee in corners male or female. It's mostly because when they back into a corner they can see all around them and it's safe, it doesn't always have to be an exact corner but just a corner type situation. Females are known to pee on their poop, so it is more common with a female to see pee with their poop. This seems to be a favorite method of litter training: holisticferret60.proboards.com/thread/108/litter-box-boot-campMost ferrets arn't going to go perfectly every single time I think that's common for all animals. Especially when older and or sick.

yes they do. or along a wall if the corner is too far away. I believe it's because they want to be able to see around them. We use a lot of newspapers and puppy pads AND litter boxes in the most popular corners. Most ferrets can be litter trained, but older ones may take more time. What's sad is that as they get older, they may also get lazier as far as seeking a potty.
