I just got my very own ferret on 8/28/18. She's adorable and super playful. She came from a home where they didn't have any time for her. They had only had her for 2 months. Her name is Layla. She is almost 8months old. She was on horrible food from Wal mart. I transitioned her over to a better brand and I'm also making the soupie for her. She is very slow to accept this but does take a bite now and then. I know that I need patience through this whole process. I want to go totally raw eventually. I know its healthy for her.

Hi! Glad to hear you're getting your little one on a raw diet. What helped me to get my girls on the soup is the grab and dab method which is you get some soup in your finger and dab it on her mouth so she licks it off and you just keep at that till she realizes that stuffs not so bad. I used get my girls while they were sleeping so there was less struggle. After that you can start trying to feed her with a spoon and slowly leading her to the bowl of soup. It took me idk a month maybe till they were eating the soup willingly. But everyone is different.

Hand feeding in the beginning does indeed speed the process. Yes, it's time consuming but it's worth it in the long run. Welcome on board ciao

I should tell you that I have helped my friend out with caring for her 4 furry babies. That's what made me want my own. She too is switching over to all raw. She's loving the results. That's also what made me want to feed raw. After helping with her babies. She has taught me a lot and we both do a lot of research.
