Good morning group, I am new in this group and have been reading on and off on how to switch from kibble to raw. I am a very visual person and learn better that way. I can read on how to switch all day. I understand this will not be easy/ over night thing for my 1.5 year old Cole . I have got him to eat raw egg and have him eating the primal and rad cat raw . He likes the chicken and turkey. But will not eat the lamb, even with egg in it. So Im about to place an order for turkey, chicken, duck, and rat (ground) . I do understand that i will have to brush his teeth which is not an issue. Oh I do still have the kibble in the cage as well. He is on Wysong Ferret Epigen 90 Digestive Support and Orijen Dry Cat and Kitten Food.
Thank you for your help on this journey to a healthier fur baby.
Cole is a 1.5 year old Last weight was 2.5 lbs (per vet )

Okay, since he is eating the raw already, even just two varieties right now, ditch the kibble entirely. He simply doesn't need it any longer. And get ready to drastically increase the amount of raw as once you do his appetite will go through the roof for a bit If you do have the lamb you can get him used to it over time. It is worth the trouble to do so as if he winds up with a sensitivity to anything, lamb is very hypoallergenic as far as proteins go and can be a good "go to" meat for tummy upsets. It takes making it very soupy and doing a "grab and dab" several times a day, along with slowly mixing it into a favourite protein as he learns to accept the lamb. The proteins you have ordered also give a good variety

Excellent! I would start cutting back on the egg as they should only have 1 or 2 max in a week's time Is he eating everything you give him? If so, increase the amount. As I'd mentioned he will eat a LOT once the kibble is out entirely.
