So Craven has been losing hair since Sept I believe, started on Lupron the month after and did that for 3 months with no improvement, his hair was very thin, pretty much gone on his back end and now has started to regrow. Over his hips it's growing in orange, but it's there and his fur is thicker over all, only change has been I'm trying to switch them to raw and they haven't been getting much kibble at all. It's not really the season to be changing or regrowing coats unless he's on a crazy schedule.

I'd believe it...I adopted a very bald adrenal girl and after a month on raw she started growing fur back before we even started the Lupron while I was still researching vets and medical options. Granted, she was also malnourished as her previous owner fed her Friskies but the raw was enough to kick start the fur growth, though her vulva stayed very swollen until the Lupron kicked in. I posted pics of Ovana on this thread ( holisticferret.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=ferretpic&action=display&thread=4120&page=2), she's about halfway down and there's a shot of the peachfuzz she was getting during her first month home. We started Lupron not long after that and she had a beautiful coat within a few months.

It could be the lupron. Pooka had a very naked belly but after her last lupron shot (she's had 2 now) she started putting on fuzz. She's got a beautiful soft covering of summer fur. Now, all my guys are in major shed (they've got to be crazy there's 6 ft of snow outside) and are getting ready for spring. Almost all of them are down 2 oz and they've cut back on their eating. According to a friend, all her jills are coming into a slow season and her boys are in season, just ready and waiting. One thing to note and I can't be the only one. I've found that for the most part (Pooka the exception) all my adrenals (I presently have 4) never lost their fur, nor did any of them (that includes Pooka) loose their furry tails. A bit of thinning over the hips, disgusting coarse fur but not a loss of coat ciao

He hasn't had a shot for two months, he was losing fur the whole time he was on it. He's the only adrenal I've had lose fur, Precious and Pip both thinned out a bit but nothing terrible, Craven lost his tail fur (rat tail?), but that's almost entirely back but very thin everywhere. This was mid December, whenever I signed up for the mentoring program Today

Hard to tell but all the orange on his back end is hair and that spot was bald, his tail is thicker as well. I'm going to keep an eye on him and try to get a pic every month. Side note, doesn't he have a very feminine appearance? I always call him a girl by accident, his head just doesn't look male to me.

I'd be no help here at all, as all mine were raw fed when diagnosed. My only fuzz that did NOT lose fur was Athena. Sinnead, of course, tail and haunches, and it's very thin along her entire back. Zeus on his toes/paws.
