1. Does freezing degrade taurine? I don’t believe taurine degrades when it’s frozen, I haven’t read anywhere that it does.
2. Your ferret's stools are loose/soft. What is this a sign of and how can you adjust to fix it? I’m not actually sure what you could do to help with soft stools.
3. Is it a good idea to mix muscle meat, bone in and organs all in one meal. Explain why. I don’t see why mixing everything in one meal would be bad as long as the portioning is correct.
4. What is a Normal Fasting Blood Glucose level? ’m not sure what normal fasting blood glucose levels are...
5. How long does each type of meat generally stay good: raw soup, ground meat, med-large chunks, bone-in meats, whole prey? Im pretty sure raw meats last about 2 days in the fridge.

Not much to update on. Things are still going well, they’re taking to everything I give them! My only concern is that the only organ I can find for them is liver, I still haven’t had any luck with anything else, the butcher never called me back awhile ago and another butcher doesn’t order in organs. I’m at a bit of a loss as to what to do.

There is a supplement you can use, but I have to find out again what it was. I'll get back to you on that. In the interim, make liver 10% of their diet. I have to admit, I'm surprised you can't find beef kidney in the frozen section of your local grocer's!

I have some bad news. Feeding raw has become extremely costly :/ I do see that it’s benefiting my ferrets, but unfortunately, due to the cost, I don’t think I can continue at this time. I’m really disappointed that it didn’t work out for me. I hope in the future I can go back to raw feeding, but as of right now, having just moved, it’s not doable.
I have some questions though. Since I’m stuck going back to kibble, what can you tell me about some brands that you’d recommend? I used to feed them verselaga, but Sebastian ate and ate constantly and was quite skinny, whereas on raw, he’s gotten to a healthier weight.
Also, with feeding kibble, can I still treat them with raw every once in awhile, like a chicken wing here and there or some chicken hearts?
I’m going to run them through what we have left, which is enough for at least another week, and during that time, I’d like to learn about which kibble is the best to feed when you have no other options.
Also, is there any supplements I should be giving them along with kibble, since I know it’s not as nutritious as raw?
Thank you so much for everything, and I’m so sorry, I feel as though I’ve wasted your time. I was so serious about raw, and I’m 100% for it! I do hope someday I can switch my ferrets back to it, because it really is so good for them!

I am so very sorry to hear this I am not too familiar with kibbles today. But if I were in a position where I had to, I think I'd look at Orijen or Wysong's digestive support. And keep giving a raw couple of days a week if possible. It won't hurt.
