Hm, according to my search history, I have actually looked them up before. I'm sure someone else on the forum has asked and that may be why. I think it's been said on the forum before that BCR doesn't include enough bone or hearts to be balanced. I, personally, do not recall percentages and if I emailed the company, I can't find the email right now. So best bet there would be to email them and ask a rough estimate of their percentages of the following: Muscle, Bone, Heart, Organs. For ferrets to be balanced it needs the following range: 65-70% Muscle, 10-15% Bone, 10% Hearts, 10% Organs (5% should be liver). Link to a previous thread about BCR: holisticferret60.proboards.com/thread/19706/big-country-rawAs for Tollden Farms, the same thing applies, contact them for ratios and I think only the DIY product might work, the rest contain either vegetables or other plant matters mixed in with it and best avoided (though if the percentage of indigestibles is very, very low, it might be okay). A commercial raw product should be avoided if there's more than 5% indigestible matter, and if you can, stick to a lower percentage of that still, like 98% meat-2% indigestible, or no indigestibles at all.
