Hello everyone, I'm Jen. I currently have three ferrets, two one year olds and an older (4 to 6 probably), all boys. They've taken over my living room, and my couch is a giant den/jungle gym, and the AC is now running for their comfort. I started out getting Will and Jack on a "trial basis" from a co-worker who had to get rid of them for a move. That was a little over two years ago. I'm not sure what else to say- I could go on about their love of molded plastic from the packaging of a cell phone charger, or my new boy's unhealthy taste for electrical cords, or their ongoing fight with the water bowl- it keeps getting them *wet* when they stick their heads in! Their favorite is any water not in a bowl, like in a glass or remaining on the tub after a human showers, or best in the whole world, on my hands after I wash them. My first two didn't really play with toys, but now my two younger boys do, so I'm going to be putting into practice some of the tips from this board. Edited to include image instead of attaching it:

Hi and welcome to the forum Please feel free to prowl around the various sections, read the threads, ask questions about anything you don't understand (trust me there is no such thing as a stupid question, not in regards to ferrets ;D), get involved in the discussions and basically have fun. There are a lot of really good people on board, they're friendly and have a huge knowledge base. I hope that I will be seeing you around ciao

Hi and Welcome to the group! I'm originally from central Ma, but now reside in Florida where I don't have to deal with snow

Thanks, all! Here's Dominique on an outing to Petco. This was after he stopped trying to hop out of the harness- I don't think he'd been in one before! And Dominique trying to pull a morsel of treat out of my hand, while I hold it so he'll stay still for a picture: Dominique is a very oozy sleeper. He started out in the blue hanging bed at right, and slooowly worked his way out of it Will in the cutest picture I've ever taken of a ferret: Snorri looking pretty, and thinking "what the heck *is* that clicky thing? IT must taste good, she holds it so often... and Snorri demonstrating how difficult it is to get a good picture of a white ferret
