Finally getting a chance to use my dehydrator, besides all the sickie only having one of the 3 who can eat dehydrated it didn't seem worth it. ANyways I now have two who can eat it and one other to try (neka wont be for a long while yet) I found a bunch of hearts and gizards on sale for I froze half and am dehydrating the rest. I did cut them a bit so they are not too thick..... but... how do I know when they are done? LOL

When they feel leathery, and a slight bit greasy Mine like their jerky chewy, not hard.

Don't forget to keep it frozen/refridgerated! Although the packages on the store shelves aren't, they also have some type of preservative in them.

You can always try mixing it in with their regular meat as well, so they all get a taste for it.
