I scored a sweet deal on a rabbit hutch through work... now the boys have a neat outdoor place to play! It's light enough that I can maneuver it onto the grass so they can have a little digging time, then back onto a solid surface so they don't have to be constantly supervised. I just need to put in a couple eye screws "upstairs" so they can have a hammock in there too. A lot of these hutch things are really cute, but I'd never leave an animal in one outside overnight, at least not around here. I can just imagine the local bear ripping that thing open like a happy meal box.

Hey that's neat. Wonder what those go for at my local feed supply store. I've seen them on display out front, but never had a use for one before. So the bottom is enlosed all around except no floor? How do they get down there?

Looks awesome!!
Where abouts in Northern WI are you?? I'm down here in Milwaukee.. would love to get something like this to let my kids outside, but we either have upper 90s temps with 60% humidity or 40s with 50mph winds, lol

How do they get down there? This is the "Premium Plus Bunny Barn." Seems to retail for about $200. You can see the edge of the ramp in the back that leads to the first "room" up top. If you actually wanted to keep a ferret or rabbit outdoors in it you'd have to bury some chicken wire beneath it, I'd imagine. I know that Hocus would almost certainly tunnel out the first night, the little jailbreaker. I am near Rhinelander... weather is never a constant here either. We just had two muggy days in the 90s, and now today when I woke up it was 45 degrees Which honestly I like better!

I like it somewhere between 45 and 90 lol. 70 year round would be perfect for me. Here I could only use that outdoors in the spring and fall. Too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter, but still it's cute and looks like fun!
