So, our new home comes with a cold storage area downstairs, which will allow me to properly stock up on some items, especially ones I don't really want to keep in my pantry. And as my fuzzies will be getting one of the bedrooms down there for themselves, it would just be easier for me to keep their food stores down there too (Dry food on the shelves such as FDR, chest freezer for frozen such as Frankenprey and hopefully Whole Prey too, and we might put in a smaller fridge too.) So we did a supply run of some of the commercial food they get along with their Frankenprey diet to stock up for once we move (hopefully later in this month). All four of the fuzzies knew exactly what was in that box, they didn't care too much for the tins of Wild Calling cat food for the cat, but they knew the bags of Stella & Chewy's and Vital Essentials treats were theirs, even if they do have to share the Chicken Hearts with the cat (Hades is slowly learning to eat some raw). Athena wasn't present when I snapped the photos but she soon joined the boys. I wish I was able to take photos of them when we bring raw meats back when stocking up our Frankenprey, but I decided it's not worth trying to wrestle a packet of quail out of the jaws of a very determined ferret and risk spraying watery blood everywhere again. So the raw meat bags just go straight onto the counter instead of the floor. Look at Apollo's glowy little eyes...

Oh they most certainly do, Sherry. Ours also know EXACTLY when we are prepping raw meat, whether to portion and freeze their Frankenprey, or our dinner for cooking. They cluster around the feet of whoever is busy with the meat, or lie down on the rug by the counter and happily wait to be handed some little cut-off bites, and if they are not granted any nibbles, your feet will pay the price for such insolence, lol.
